Brittney moved to the Exton area in the spring of 2008. After a strenuous job search she decided to seek other opportunities. Massage school was the answer. She felt it complemented her Bachelors of Arts degree she received in 2006 from New England College. As a very hands on artist it was an easy transition into the massage field.
Brittney received her massage certification from Cortiva Institute in April 2010. She is also nationally certified, insured and holds a valid massage license in Pennsylvania. She believes massage relieves physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing one’s overall health and well-being. Her goal is to customize each massage so clients will get the optimal benefits from their service. She has additional training in orthopedic massage and is always looking to expand her knowledge in sports massage.
Brittney’s other interests include painting/drawing, running, yoga and spending time with her husband.
Carolyn Urbanavaage is a graduate of The Academy of Massage Therapy & Bodywork and a licensed Massage Therapist in Pennsylvania. Her modalities are Swedish, Deep Tissue and Forearm Fusion.
Forearm fusion provides clients with a remarkably deep (if requested) but also very flowing and notably relaxing massage.
Carolyn decision to become a licensed massage therapist stems from a lifelong commitment to wellness and a desire to aid others. She strongly believes in alternative options to achieve optimum health. Carolyn studied/practiced homeopathy, meditation, yoga and is a member of CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). Her education in massage therapy has brought it all together and she is excited to use the healing qualities of massage therapy and her ability to ease discomfort through therapeutic massage.
Carolyn is eager to bring fresh knowledge to Ease-Up and help to regenerate Ease-Up’s clients well-being.
Timothy Macura is a graduate of the Academy of Massage and Therapeutic Bodyworks in Pottstown and a licensed massage therapist in Pennsylvania.
Seeing the value massage therapy held for him and others, Timothy made a commitment to pursuing it as a career. He also chose to go into massage therapy because he saw how much it, when paired with other modalities, helped his wife who has a chronic condition.
Possessing a background in martial arts, he has found that this aspect pro-vides him with a strong and elegant foundation with which he practices.
In his experience as a massage therapist, Timothy has had the opportunity to work with clients experiencing edema, muscular dystrophy, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, sensory processing disorders, and other neurological condi-tions. He strives to tailor his massages to meet each clients needs, educating himself in the best methods for their treatment.
